After successful participation in the course, students are able to critically discuss common mechanisms and protocols for increasing the IT security of today's systems. Students have a broad knowledge of IT security, data protection, and privacy on the Internet after completing the course.
Students are familiar with modern IT protection concepts from the areas of cryptography, identity management, web, and mobile security, and secured programming practices in SDLC. They are able to recognize attack vectors in IT systems and develop countermeasures.
